Tamyra Vest, Executive Director at Downtown South Boston, was the speaker at the Post D monthly meeting in South Boston. Vest discussed the many changes the city is undergoing thanks to grant money donated to help fund the improvements. One focused project aims to get two-way traffic back up and operational on Main Street. She explained how her organization also helps coach several female-owned businesses in the area.
