Patricia Walker was the speaker at the Post D monthly meeting in South Boston. Ms. Walker is the Plant Manager of Golden Piedmont Labs and spoke on the creation of Golden Piedmont Labs, a manufacturing plant that processes hemp. She discussed the process of hemp from the time a farmer receives his seed until it is grown, processed and reaches the retail shelves in a product.
