The Kentucky Division of the Travelers Protective Association (TPA) sponsored the Kentucky State Deaf Spelling Bee for the third year in a row. In the last three years the Division has donated more than $2,000 to help pay for expenses. The event was held at a college in Elizabethtown. This year 28 schools were represented by 74 kids from both Kentucky and Indiana. In the photos are Kentucky Division Secretary Boyce Hager with local teacher and event volunteer Summer Jenkins, along with staff and contestants.
