Aims and Objectives

The Travelers Protective Association of America consists of Divisions (States), each composed of Posts in various National Headquarters in St. Louis, Missouricities, with National Headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. There are no paid salesmen or recruiting costs; growth is achieved by the voluntary efforts of existing members, one member inviting their friends and family to participate.

The society's purposes are a threefold blend of benefits for its members, their families and for the community, functioning in these major areas:

Fraternalism

Social and fraternal activites at the local level for members and friends. Dances, family picnics, barbeques and many other events are held regularly by most Posts.

Safety Projects and Community Service

Participation is on a national and local scale; the Child Safety Program and Scholarship Trust for the Hearing Impaired are examples. Other activities are tailored to local needs and requirements: sponsorship of Little League teams, Meals On Wheels for the elderly, Highway Rest Stops, etc.
